About Our Outings

We gather to go out on the land throughout the Southern California region to connect with nature and with one another on a regular basis. Most often, the outings are in San Diego County and we hope to venture farther as our capacity allows. 

MONTHLY BIRDING

We have a regularly scheduled bird outing the second Sunday of the month from 8am-10am.

SCBN x WBC

Bi-monthly (every other month), we meet at the iconic Worldbeat Cultural Center in Balboa Park. Click here for information on getting here & free/paid parking.

LET'S GO BIRDING POP-UPs

Occasionally, we also do Let's Go Birding POP-UPs. These come up to celebrate a Bird Nerd coming to town or for another reason, like a rare bird sighting or a special, unexpected event. We try to give as much notice as possible and recommend following us on Instagram and signing up to receive email updates.

Terrain: Packed earth in garden, smooth, flat sidewalk, asphalt and grassy areas en route and at IP with some incline
