Hello everyone, Jo here! 

I'm a proud Bird Nerd, and I wear that title like a badge of honor. 

There's nothing quite like the thrill of spotting a rarity in the treetops, hearing the heavenly call of a great horned owl at dusk, or having a playful Pawi soar over my head in Trinidad!

Being a Bird Nerd often means noticing most birds and loudly announcing them to anyone within a 10-foot radius, whether they asked for an ID or not.

I also love capturing these magical moments through my camera lens, freezing fleeting beauty to share the wonder with others. Whether I’m hiking with my binoculars or quietly watching my backyard feeders, every feathered visitor sparks curiosity, awe, and that unmistakable feeling we call Bird Joy.
